Units

Your military force is a blend of specialised units designed to fill offensive, defensive, and utility roles. Understanding how each unit performs is essential for building effective fleets, countering enemy strategies, and maximising your resource investment.

This table provides a full breakdown of unit types, classifications, and combat stats, giving you the tools needed to plan your army and optimise your battlefield performance.

Research Unlocks

Two units stand apart from the standard roster and require specific research to build.

Wraith

The Wraith is unlocked through the Mirage Technology research. Its defining trait is that it appears at half its true strength on enemy reconnaissance. A fleet containing Wraiths will show a significantly lower power reading than it actually has, making it much harder for an opponent to judge whether they can win the engagement before committing.

This makes the Wraith particularly effective in attack. An enemy who runs a spy mission to assess your fleet strength may see a number that looks manageable, only to find the actual fight goes against them. The Wraith rewards players who are active in fleet combat and want to retain the element of surprise.

Erebus

The Erebus is unlocked through the Erebus Experimental Unit research and is the most powerful unit in the game by a considerable margin. A fleet containing even one or two Erebus-class ships punches well above the raw unit count, and a full Erebus complement can take on conventional fleets several times its apparent size.

Because of the research cost required to unlock it, the Erebus tends to come online in the mid to late game. Players who reach it while others have scaled through religion or trade without matching military investment can use a small Erebus fleet to rapidly transfer land and score in a short window. It is the single largest power spike available to a combat-focused kingdom.
